Nicholas Zabawsky’s practice covers all aspects of the music industry, where he primarily works with musicians ranging from up-and-comers to the largest names in the business, as well as publishers, producers, managers and songwriters. He focuses on the counseling, negotiating and drafting of various agreements, including recording, producing, merchandising, live performance and other agreements, as well as any other legal matters that may arise for such clients.
Before joining Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks, P.C., Nick spent five years as an associate in the global leveraged finance group at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Working from offices in New York, London and Singapore, he focused on various international and domestic acquisition and other finance transactions. Prior to attending college, he served four years as a soldier in the 25th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army.
