Ted E. Fisher

Ted is experienced in all facets of entertainment law and practices in the film, television, sports, publishing and theater industries at Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks. Ted drafts and negotiates agreements for prominent actors, actresses, comedians, athletes, models, authors, directors, photographers, production companies, film studios and Broadway producers.

Prior to joining the firm, Ted was an associate in the Business and Legal Affairs department at Scripps Networks Interactive (Food Network, HGTV and Travel Channel) where Ted primarily focused on drafting and negotiating talent agreements and production agreements for Scripps’ digital programming. Ted also has experience working in-house at a New York based independent music publishing company where Ted drafted, negotiated and advised with respect to publishing agreements, co-publishing agreements, recording agreements, work for hire agreements, mechanical licenses, synchronization licenses and releases.
